Important Notice: Updates to Our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service

Date: March 25, 2026

Dear DataPulse Subscriber,

We are writing to inform you of updates to our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. These updates take effect for current subscribers on April 30, 2026. Your continued use of our services after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised policies.

You may review the current versions of both documents on our website at any time.

Summary of Key Changes

Privacy Policy

The following material changes have been made to the Privacy Policy:

  • New third-party service providers: Auth0 (identity and authentication) and Anthropic (AI/large language model features) have been added as data processors. Data entered into AI-powered features may be shared with Anthropic; DataPulse has opted out of allowing Anthropic to use this data for model training.
  • Privacy inquiries: Requests related to your personal data should now be submitted by email to privacy@datapulse.global rather than via the web form.

Terms of Service

The following material changes have been made to the Terms of Service:

  • AI Features (new section): New terms govern use of generative AI features, including permitted and prohibited uses. AI output may be inaccurate; users are responsible for validating AI-generated content. DataPulse does not use subscriber data to train its AI models.
  • Commercial use restrictions: Use of content or AI output in third-party products or services, for machine learning model training, or as redistributed data feeds requires a separate written license from DataPulse. An exception applies for licensed professionals (e.g., attorneys, accountants, consultants) using content in custom client deliverables under specified conditions.
  • Minimum age requirement: Users must be 18 years of age or older. Accounts found to belong to users under 18 will be terminated.
  • Liability cap: DataPulse's aggregate liability is capped at the greater of (a) fees paid by the subscriber in the preceding 12 months, or (b) $100.
  • New provisions: Added sections covering export controls and sanctions compliance, force majeure, and clarified indemnification obligations.
  • Credits and metering: New API Credits and MCP Credits accounting mechanisms apply to API and AI feature usage, metered on a daily UTC basis.
